Autovia, publisher of Auto Express and Carbuyer, boasts a monthly audience exceeding 15 million. This move enhances Carwow's position, aiming to extend its influence and capabilities among in-market car buyers and sellers in the UK. Carwow said the acquisition aligns with its commitment to providing a comprehensive platform for automotive enthusiasts and industry participants.

Volkswagen Group UK partners with Ecobat for EV battery recycling 

Volkswagen Group UK (VWG UK) has partnered with Ecobat, a global battery recycling provider, to enhance the collection and recycling of electric vehicle (EV) batteries. This collaboration underscores VWG UK's commitment to fostering a circular energy economy. Building on their collaboration since 2014, the expanded agreement includes the collection and recycling of lithium-ion battery materials from EVs, using Ecobat's ADR-compliant vehicles for efficient collection from dealers, distributors, and recycling centers.

Ayvens secures multi-billion-euro fleet deal with Stellantis 

Ayvens, a leasing and fleet management company, has secured a multi-billion-euro deal with Stellantis to acquire up to 500,000 vehicles. This agreement, spanning the next three years, aims to strengthen Ayvens' European leasing fleet. Initial deliveries are set for the first half of 2024, providing access to a diverse range of Stellantis brands like Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, FIAT, Jeep, Lancia, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall.
