GVG acquires Fleet Alliance

Global Vehicle Group (GVG) has announced the acquisition of Glasgow-based leasing broker and fleet management specialist Fleet Alliance, according to a press release issued by the company. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Fleet Alliance will join Global Vans, XLCR Vehicle Leasing, and the LCV Group under the GVG umbrella. Together, the combined group now represents the UK’s largest and most diverse B2B leasing broker.

Geotab and Vitality launch JV

Geotab Inc. and health and wellness provider Vitality have announced a joint venture aimed at improving driver safety and well-being across fleet operations, according to a press release. The new initiative, called Geotab Vitality, brings together Geotab’s connected vehicle technology and predictive collision risk analytics with Vitality’s behavioural science and global driver status model. The companies said the platform will support driver behaviour change and road safety through incentives.

Adecco and ACEA enter auto skills partnerhip

The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) and the Adecco Group have partnered to address the skill demands in the automotive sector amid green and digital transformation. The partnership will start with a comprehensive EU Automotive Skills Gap Analysis, scheduled for delivery by mid-2025. ACEA said the study will evaluate current and future skill needs within the industry.

Oxa and Bradshaw EV launch collaboration

Oxa, a UK-based autonomous vehicle software provider, and Bradshaw EV, a specialist manufacturer, have announced a collaboration to deliver scalable autonomous vehicle (AV) solutions for industrial applications. The partnership will initially focus on off-highway environments such as airports, solar farms and manufacturing facilities.
